“we cannot change, we cannot move away from what we are, until we thoroughly accept what we are. Then change seems to come about almost unnoticed.”

My Specialist Interests
I do have a special interest and expertise in working with ADHD and Autistic clients. I have worked with a number of neurodivergent clients and helped to navigate how symptoms affect day to day living, gaining support from GP's and helped process the pathway to diagnosis. We do this by looking at the DSM-V criteria and go into depth about what these look like for each individual as well as look at other resources and experiences we can find in research and by what other people share. As well as this I have a large knowledge and practice within Premenstrual Disorders, in particular to Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD). This we look at in the same way as ADHD and Autism but with a whole picture view of why this manifests in the way it does, the symptoms it brings and look at coping strategies for more challenging symptoms. |
